Charles Ratelband is founder and Managing Director of WindShareFund. Charles worked for several investment companies before founding his own real estate company in 2007, specializing in particular in the field of investment, institutional advice and the structuring, initiation and supervision of cross-border investment transactions.

In 2011, the idea arose to combine his passion for nature with entrepreneurship. This laid the foundation for WindShareFund. WindShareFund contributes to the energy transition by making investing in wind energy accessible to a wide audience. Charles believes that the solutions to energy challenges lie in human ingenuity.

He is also founder of the WindShareFund Foundation. The WindShareFund Foundation supports projects in the field of nature conservation, sustainable technological development and the preservation of the rich Dutch cultural heritage.
